One Piece Booster Box Sizes Explained: Which Acrylic Case Fits Your Set?

One Piece Booster Box Sizes Explained: Which Acrylic Case Fits Your Set?

The 4 Distinct One Piece Booster Box Sizes

If you've ever ordered an acrylic display case for your One Piece booster box and had it arrive slightly too loose or too tight, you already know the problem: not all One Piece booster boxes are the same size. In fact, there are four distinct box dimensions across the One Piece TCG lineup — and knowing which is which can save you from a frustrating mismatch.

At Acrylic Case, we've measured and precision-fit cases for every One Piece set released. Here's the complete size guide, including some details that most collectors don't know.

Despite the growing number of One Piece sets, all booster boxes fall into one of four size groups:

  1. OP-01 Blue Bottom / OP-02 size — the larger first-edition box
  2. OP-01 White Bottom / OP-03 size — the standard second-wave box
  3. PRB-01 / PRB-02 size — the Premium Booster Box dimensions
  4. Standard / Extra Booster size — the most common modern box format

OP-01: The Set That Has Two Different Box Sizes

This is the detail that trips up even experienced collectors. OP-01 Romance Dawn was printed in two waves with two different box sizes.

  • OP-01 Blue Bottom (1st Wave — First Edition): The original first-edition print run. These boxes have a blue-colored bottom and are physically larger than the second wave. This is the box most collectors consider the "true" first edition. The OP-01 Blue Bottom shares the same dimensions as the OP-02 Paramount War box — so they use the same acrylic case.
  • OP-01 White Bottom (2nd Wave): The second print run of Romance Dawn. These boxes have a white bottom and are slightly smaller. The OP-01 White Bottom shares the same dimensions as the OP-03 box — so they use the same acrylic case.

If you're unsure which OP-01 you have, flip the box over. Blue bottom = larger, first edition. White bottom = smaller, second wave.

Why Box Size Matters for Display Cases

A precision-fit acrylic case isn't just about aesthetics — it's about protection. A case that's too large lets the box shift and slide, which can dent corners over time. A case that's too tight puts pressure on the box edges and can warp the cardboard. Either way, the value of your sealed box takes a hit.

Every case we make at Acrylic Case is engineered to the exact dimensions of the box it's designed for — not a universal "close enough" fit. That's why knowing your exact box variant before ordering matters.

How to Identify Your One Piece Box Before Ordering

  • OP-01 first edition or second wave? Flip it over. Blue bottom = first edition (larger). White bottom = second wave (smaller).
  • Standard vs. Extra Booster? Both share the same dimensions — either case works for both.
  • PRB-01 vs. PRB-02? Both Premium Booster Boxes share the same dimensions — one case fits both.
  • Not sure? Check the set name printed on the box and match it to the chart above.
